What we store
Your name, email address and a hashed password; your subscription status; which episodes you watched and the choices you made in interactive mode.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Hosting
The site runs on Vercel, the database on Neon (both in Frankfurt, Germany). Video files are delivered through Vercel’s global network.
Sign-in with Apple or Google
If you choose it, Apple or Google tells us your email address, a user ID and, if available, your name. We use these only to sign you in. Apple’s “Hide My Email” address works too.
Emails are sent by Resend (Ireland). You get emails about your account and subscription. Emails about new parts and series only if you asked for them or subscribed; every one of them has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies
We use a single strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Visitor statistics
We count page views without cookies. For this we store the page, a rough device type, the country and an anonymous code made from your IP address and browser with a key that changes every day, so you can’t be recognised from one day to the next. Your IP address itself is not stored. Statistics are deleted after 120 days.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data at [contact email]. You may also complain to a data protection authority.
